FAQs
Uptime Monitoring alerts can be configured to check a specific URL at one minute intervals for downtime, such as an unexpected response code, a request timeout, or DNS resolution issues. Additionally, if your website or API is using one of Sentry’s back-end SDKs, we can automatically trace any related errors to a failed uptime check, helping you pinpoint the root cause faster.
In just a few minutes, you can create a new Uptime Monitoring Alert directly from the Sentry dashboard that monitors a specific URL for any issues. To use Uptime Monitoring, you will first need a Sentry account. If you don’t have a Sentry account, you can create one here. Then, follow the instructions in our docs to set up your Uptime Monitoring Alert.
Uptime Monitoring is currently available for free while in open beta, with pricing details to be shared at a later date.
