AI Issue Grouping, which has been in beta since last August, is now generally available.
With AI Issue Grouping,Sentry layers on “semantic” fingerprinting to detect duplicate issues on top of existing, rule-based grouping. Before this change, small differences, like new Python versions, would result in new issues created; now, these types of issues are grouped together, reducing the number of issues created by 40%.
AI Issue Grouping is automatically enabled on all Sentry projects at no additional cost.
